We are business owners, friends and residents who want to increase the information and conversations in our wonderful county. We are a non profit with a goal of helping information flow within our county.
In September of 2022 Cheyenne County held the first LB644 community meeting where the residents could voice concerns about taxes. It did not go as planned. After the meeting several of us joined together and made a pledge to increase communication within the county and assist residents when possible. New friends working for common goals.
The Observer was an idea created by the Jansens and Pools while looking for ways to increase the communication in Cheyenne County. With extensive backgrounds is business they decided to build the Observer as a method of communication within Cheyenne County.
This has become our working motto. As we work with other residents and friends it has become clear to us that many people within the county are having troubles. Our goal is to talk about those troubles and as a community fix them. The most powerful preamble every written, WE THE PEOPLE drives us in everything we do. We believe in community and coming together with a common goal. Some will disagree and that is ok. The people though, will have a say in our direction and will have all the information needed to make those decisions.
